Wyoming Women's Foundation ENews

Did you know...

Since we began in 1999, we have given almost $500,000 to over 50 organizations improving the lives of women and girls throughout the state.

In Jackson, Latino women have a safe place to discuss important issues and form a supportive community through the Latino Resource Center. CLIMB Wyoming trains single mothers in non-traditional jobs and these women are receiving higher salaries that make it possible to support their families. Women going to or returning to state or community colleges are getting financial assistance that has allowed them to continue their higher education, which would have otherwise been impossible for them to do.  Through Volunteers of America, women are starting their own businesses in their community after overcoming many hardships and obstacles.

We know you are being inundated with requests for donations this time of year, but by giving to the Wyoming Women's Foundation you are ensuring that local organizations improving the lives of Wyoming's women and girls, are identified, researched and chosen to receive funds.  In these times of economic downturn, the needs of so many organizations have increased. With our permanent endowment, the WyWF can provide a secure source of funding for organizations across our great state of Wyoming making sure that the economic self-sufficiency of women and opportunities for girls remain a focus. 

As you look toward the New Year, we hope you will make the Wyoming Women's Foundation your priority. Thank you for your interest and continued support of Wyoming's women and girls.
