  Happy New Year!

The Wyoming Women's Foundation is diving head first into 2010 and we hope you will join us.

There are several up coming events giving you plenty of opportunities to spread good fortune around Wyoming.
  • The Equality State Policy Center announces their 2010 Citizen Lobbyist Training on February 10th in Cheyenne.
  • The bipartisan Wyoming Women's Legislative Caucus has announced the Leap into Leadership conference will be held April 22nd and 23rd in Casper.  More details to follow.
  • The Wyoming Women's Foundation is pleased to share our annual Friendraiser in Cheyenne will be hosted in conjunction with International Women's Day on March 8th.
In honor of our 10 year anniversary celebration, we will be highlighting different grantee partners from our distinguished 10 years of work.  These grantees exemplify the great efforts people in Wyoming are making toward economic self-sufficiency for Wyoming women and opportunities for girls.    This month we are featuring Womentoring, a program within Womentum.  wheelThis program is a great example of women mentoring women and fulfilling the Education and Training spoke on the wheel of economic self-sufficiency.

We salute you, Womentum, and all of you out there helping our communities prosper.

The Promise to Me initiative, introduced in October of 2009, is designed to empower women to make their health a priority and encourage them to pass the message on to other women in their lives.
