The Wyoming Women's Foundation and the Sheridan Housing Action Committee announce the first graduate of the Women's Homebuyer Club
The Wyoming Women’s Foundation and SHAC announce the first graduate of the Women’s Homebuyer Club. The Wyoming Women’s Foundation awards grants to Wyoming organizations that help women and girls attain economic self-sufficiency. The foundation funded the SHAC Women’s Homebuyer Club which meets once per month for a year to educate families about homeownership, credit and systematic savings. Members must attend every month and contribute to a savings account which is matched 2:1 by the WYWF up to $750. More openings are available to join the Club. Anjelica says, “I’m glad I made it this far and I accomplished it even though it still feels like a dream. It was well worth it especially for my children who have a home to grow up in for the rest of their lives.”
