House Bill 239 Fails to Pass in House Labor Health and Social Services Committee

Because of your hard work, Wyoming's Children are Protected While Families Work

HB 239 Fails to pass in House Labor Health and Social Services Committee

HB239 failed by a vote of 3 to 6 in the House Labor Health and Social Services Committee on late Wednesday, February 02, 2011. For more information on how legislators voted, please visit here:  http://legisweb.state.wy.us/=2011/Digest/HB0239.htm.

Thanks to the hard work of partners like the Wyoming Children's Action Alliance, the Equality Sate Policy Center, supporters of the Wyoming Women's Foundation, and many working parents and providers from across the state, the certification process for in-home providers remains intact, and parents can go to work knowing their children are in a safe and healthy environment.

Safe and healthy child care is good for Wyoming businesses and the economic security of Wyoming's women and families.

Congratulations to all those people in Wyoming who took a stand for Wyoming families.
